I really wasn't sure what I'd get out of Jared Richardson's keynote on "Career 2.0". I've been running my own businesses for close to twenty years, so I don't find most "career" talks that relevant. In fact, Jareds presentation was one of the clearest, funniest and best structured presentations I've ever seen on building a reputation as a programmer . . .

No Fluff Just Stuff Boston - First Thoughts

Wow. I present at a lot of conferences round the world so I get to listen to great presenters on a regular basis, but I must admit that NFJS Boston (at which I'm just an attendee) is blowing my mind and we're only a half day into the 2.5 day conference . . .

No Fluff Just Stuff this weekend in Boston

I've wanted to catch a "no fluff just stuff" conference for a while now, so when I saw they were having one in Boston this weekend I figured this was my chance. I'm particularly looking forwards to seeing how other people are using git, learning more about Groovy and Grails and generally picking the brains of some really great agile and java devs.

Anyone else coming?
