Just had another CFArgument with Brian Rinaldi. Given that I spend most of my time proselytizing Object Oriented programming in CF, I thought it'd be a good exercise to argue the opposite position.

So, if you want to know why OO programming is a waste of space, check it out!

This week Brian and I debate the merits of the Data Access Object (DAO) design pattern. The DAO is a core J2EE design pattern that has been adopted within the ColdFusion community and which you will generally find in object-oriented applications built with ColdFusion.
