Recommendations for good PHP/MySQL Hosting

Kinda like trying to find a place to eat in NYC, I'm suffering from option overload. I have a client getting a project coded in India and he needs decent PHP/MySQL shared hosting for putting up what will initially be a relatively low traffic site. Cost isn't the biggest concern. Decent techs, good support a reliable machine and network and not too much overselling of bandwidth would be ideal. Right now he needs shared rather than ded or VPS. Any recommendations?

I would suggest CrystalTech (www.crystaltech.com) Good prices, good service, and their online control panel is awesome!

I've been using DreamHost (http://www.dreamhost.com) for a while and have been satisfied. They really respond very quickly to support requests, they allow unlimited DBs, lots of bandwidth and disk space, SVN, among other things. I've been a pretty satisfied customer.

+1 for Crystal Tech.

If you want cheaper - I've had good luck with BlueHost.

I have used HostMySite, their support has always been top notch. I recently left HMS with several domains due to differences in php configurations between servers which was wrecking havoc on my multiple Drupal sites.

I recently setup a VPS with rapidvps.com. I have been blown away by their performance, they also offer unlimited domain hosting on their shared web hosting, but I don't know how loaded those servers are.

I've been using Bluehost for a year or so and have had a pretty good experience.

I've been using Mediatemple for The Code Zone (as well as a couple of small personal sites) for close to a year now, and I've been very happy with 'em. They seem to work very hard to keep everything updated, and uptime has been great.

@All, Many thanks for the input!

@John, you use their $20/month grid offering? Any downsides - looks very interesting . . .

Another plug for CrystalTech. Our church website has been hosted at there for several years, and I've been pleased with the service we've gotten from them. I'm currently working to port a PHP/PostgreSQL songs web app to CF/MySQL with them.
