Introducing OO Architecture in CFDJ

A lot of people know what CFC's are but aren't really sure how to start to go about architecting their ColdFusion apps. There are a bunch of resources out there, but I though I'd add one more with a CFDJ article on Architecting your ColdFusion Objects that has just been published. It tries to provide a high level overview of where, why and how to use OO design patterns to create more maintainable CF apps. Any input appreciated!

Wow, three articles on my author page in three months - cool :->

hmm...just out of curiousity, are you allowed to reprint your own articles?

i absolutely despise the CFDJ site. i just followed your link and after closing some popups, my firefox froze.

I must admit, that Microsoft Windows Server ad on their site is driving me nuts, but while I haven't read the contributor agreement (n fact, I don't remember ever seeing a contributor agreement) I'm pretty sure that I can't republish. I give them content, they give me my name in print - fair deal all round.

Hopefully the print edition will be out soon . . .

Ohhh, cool - on page 7. And I'm guessing that as long as we all take some time to look at the ads in the PDF of the print edition, the Sys-con team won't mind too much - at least it won't crash FF :->

Whenever I go to CFDJ to read an article I always hit the "Print" icon to get the print friendly version. No ads and no flipping through pages.
