Well, Joe Rinehart has started something now. We now have a whole library of Doug Hughes' to look at. In the same spirit, let me present Joe as you've never seen him before . . .

Who's gonna be next?! (Maybe Brian - [Full Size]?!)

Yes, I am not sure where they got that photo of me on the CFDJ editorial board page, but this is indeed the true me you have found. Of course, I don't dress like this every day...just for special occasions.

Rugby? RUGBY?!?

sheesh! have a careful look...

Please don't insult the great game of Aussie Rules with confusing it with THUGby or foot-brawl. Peter may be fast around a keyboard but I just couldn't imagine him with a bit of Sherrin pigskin....

@barry: bah! It looks like a football and he's not wearing a helmet or padding so I can't tell the difference. ;o)

Actually I wasn't even aware there was something called Aussie Rules. Whats the difference, in two sentences, between that and rugby?

Rugby (union or league) is more handball - you hold the ball and run where as Aussie Rules (similar to Gaelic Football) is very much a kicking game (sometime called "aerial ping-pong")

"and he's not wearing a helmet or padding"

Bah! they need to toughen up methinks

@Rey, I think he is referring to Australian Rules Football: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_rules_foot...

@Barry, I was a passable fly half in high school, but didn't play seriously. Always seemed strange seeing people playing the same game in the 'States - only with more body armor than a platoon of Marines :->

But to be fair, the guys I played against weren't 250 lbs . . .

@Sammy - I never KNEW I was so busy. Any y'all thought I just blogged?!
