Let the Comments Roll!

Incendiary topics not enough to get more comments on your blog? Charlie Arehart has the answer.

With his minor modifications to Pete Farrells Lyla Captcha (just to some xml settings), in about 2 minutes you can make any blogCFC powered blog (or anyone other blog using Lyla Captcha) easier to comment on.

I can't remember the number of times I've gotten the captcha text wrong on my own blog when posting comments. This is a quick and easy fix and according to Charlie he's been running it for a month and had no spam comments at all.

What I really liked about the post was how complete it was (it even reminded you the name of the URL variable to reinit blogCFC). 2 minutes and you'll be done. Check it out.

P.S. I know his post is a month old, but I'm not sure the word has gotten out yet, so I'm adding one more voice.
